The name La Nave, Italian for "the vessel," honors the Martelli family history. Originating from Rio Marina on the island of Elba, the Martelli family operated maritime shipping routes between Europe and the United States. In the early 1900s, Angelo Martelli made the journey to America aboard one of the family's vessels, ultimately settling in Galveston, Texas. His story of adventure, craftsmanship, and connection continues to inspire the values that guide our business today.
