Frequently Asked Questions

How do I care for my fine jewelry?

While fine jewelry is crafted from durable, high-quality materials, no piece is completely immune to everyday wear. Proper care and routine maintenance will help preserve the beauty and longevity of your jewelry for years to come.

We recommend periodically inspecting your pieces to ensure stones remain secure in their settings and to identify any signs of wear before they become larger issues. Prongs, clasps, and other components can naturally loosen over time and should be checked regularly.

To clean your jewelry at home, soak it for 10–20 minutes in a small bowl of warm water with a drop of mild dish soap. Using a soft-bristled toothbrush, gently clean around settings and beneath stones where buildup can occur. Rinse thoroughly in a separate bowl or glass of clean water—rather than directly over a sink—to avoid accidental loss, then pat dry with a soft microfiber cloth.

When not being worn, store each piece separately in a soft pouch or a fabric-lined jewelry box. Diamonds are among the hardest natural materials and can scratch other gemstones, diamonds, and precious metals if stored together.

With proper care and occasional professional inspection, your fine jewelry can be enjoyed for generations.

What is the difference between a bespoke, custom, or sourced piece of jewelry?

Bespoke Jewelry

A bespoke piece is created entirely from scratch. We work with you to develop a unique design based on your ideas, inspiration, and preferences. Every detail—from the stone selection to the setting and finishing touches—is customized specifically for you, resulting in a one-of-a-kind piece.

Custom Jewelry

A custom piece starts with an existing design that is modified to suit your preferences. This may include changing the stone shape, size, metal type, gemstone, or other design elements. The result is a personalized piece that reflects your style without creating an entirely new design from the ground up.

Sourced Jewelry

A sourced piece is jewelry that already exists or can be obtained through our trusted network of suppliers and manufacturers. If you've seen a style you love, are searching for a specific item, or simply want us to find the best option within your budget, we can source pieces on your behalf and present carefully selected options for your consideration.

What is the lead time for custom or sourced jewelry?

Custom pieces are typically completed within 7–8 weeks. Sourced pieces generally arrive more quickly, with most orders taking anywhere from a few days to 1–2 weeks depending on availability and shipping timelines. We will always provide an estimated delivery timeframe and communicate any updates along the way.

How long does creating a bespoke piece take?

Creating a truly one-of-a-kind piece takes time. Most bespoke projects are completed within 10–12 weeks, beginning with the initial design concept and continuing through final production. While timelines may vary based on the complexity of the design, we are committed to providing transparent communication and setting clear expectations every step of the way.

Are your diamonds certified?

We offer both certified and non-certified diamonds, allowing clients to select the option that best aligns with their preferences and budget.

Do you accept returns?

As every piece is custom sourced or made specifically for you, we are unable to accept returns. However, our process is highly collaborative, and clients have the opportunity to review and approve all design details, stone selections, and final CAD renderings before their piece moves into production.
